A   NSR type Noise Sealing Rod size to suit application
B   AS 101 Polyurethane Acoustic and Fire rated sealant
C   Plasterboard
D   Metal or timber studs
E   NST or NFST self adhesive Noise Sealing Tape. Density and thickness to suit floor conditions
► Installation Procedure
  1. Clean floor at junction of floor and stud framework
  2. Put down Total Noise Control  NST or NFST noise tape
  3. Install plasterboard directly onto tape as required
  4. Install Total Noise Control  NSR noise sealing rod
  5. Caulk both bottom and top seals with AS 101 Acoustic and Fire rated sealant

If Ceiling is to be square set the Noise seal rod and caulking to be finished inside the line of the wall and ceiling join
